Chengdu Jiuxin Xinde Medical Technology Co., Ltd. has introduced the JXXD ENT001 Plasma RF Surgical System, a radiofrequency plasma platform developed for soft-tissue ablation, cutting, coagulation and hemostasis in ear, nose and throat procedures.
Designed for hospitals, specialist surgical centers and medical device partners, the ENT001 combines an adjustable RF energy platform with disposable bipolar plasma electrodes, a footswitch and an irrigation control valve, providing a complete equipment solution for a range of ENT applications.
Low-Temperature Plasma Technology for ENT Surgery
The ENT001 operates at a frequency of 110 kHz and generates plasma energy in a saline environment. The system is designed to break down target soft tissue through plasma-mediated molecular dissociation while helping limit the thermal effect on surrounding structures.
According to the product specification, the system operates within a temperature range of approximately 40–70°C, with a stated thermal injury depth of less than 0.1 mm under specified operating conditions.
This operating principle makes the platform suitable for procedures where controlled tissue treatment, coagulation and surgical visibility are important.

Adjustable Ablation and Coagulation Modes
The ENT001 provides two independently adjustable working modes:
- Ablation mode: Levels 1–9
- Coagulation mode: Levels C1–C5
The ablation output range extends from 100 to 300 Vrms, while the coagulation output range extends from 60 to 80 Vrms. The adjustable levels allow clinicians to select an appropriate energy setting according to the electrode model, tissue condition and procedural requirements.
The system also supports an impedance measurement range of 10–1000 Ω and accepts an AC power input of 110–240 V, 50/60 Hz, making it suitable for use in different international markets, subject to local electrical and regulatory requirements.

Integrated System Configuration
The standard ENT001 system includes:
- ENT001 RF plasma generator
- Dual-pedal footswitch for ablation and coagulation control
- Saline irrigation control valve
- Power cable
- User documentation
Disposable RF plasma electrodes are selected separately according to the intended procedure.
The footswitch allows the surgeon to switch between ablation and coagulation functions during the procedure, while the irrigation control valve helps manage saline delivery to the electrode.

Disposable Bipolar Electrodes for Multiple ENT Applications
The ENT001 is compatible with the JXXD FE Series disposable bipolar plasma electrodes. Different working lengths, tip dimensions and tip angles are available to support a variety of anatomical approaches.
Available electrode configurations are designed for procedures including:
- Tonsillectomy
- Adenoidectomy
- Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, or UPPP
- Turbinate reduction
- Soft-palate and tongue-base ablation
- Sinus procedures
- Nasal hemostasis
- Selected laryngeal soft-tissue procedures
FE Series electrodes are supplied as single-use devices and are available with irrigation and suction-supporting configurations, depending on the selected model.
Designed for International Medical Device Partners
The ENT001 is intended to support medical device distributors, hospitals and specialist ENT centers seeking a complete RF plasma surgery solution.
